June 11, 2026

Distributor and Rights management company Hoho Rights (Cloudbabies, Toad & Friends) has picked up the third-party distribution rights for Channel Five milkshake!’s popular mixed media drama Mimi’s World (40×11’) and CiTV’s classic hit animated series Fetch the Vet (25×10’).
Produced by Adastra Development with funding from Northern Ireland Screen and support from the BFI’s Young Audiences Content Fund, Mimi’s World follows the adventures of Mimi, who inspires her young charges to be confident, kind and inclusive. Written and produced by Mellie Buse, the series features a diverse cast of kids, colourful adults and animated characters who help kids to take ownership of their emotions through stories and imaginative play.
Created by popular author Stephen Thraves and produced by Cosgrove Hall, Fetch the Vet is a stop motion animation which has been digitally enhanced for a new generation. A hit on CiTV in the 2000s, the series features the voices of Scottish actor John Gordon Sinclair and Baroness Floella Benjamin and follows the adventures of a caring village vet. It has now been upscaled to HD, giving it a new lease of life for digital platforms.
On the sales front, Hoho has confirmed the sales of its animated preschool series Cloudbabies (52×10’), Shane the Chef (52×11’) and Toad & Friends (52×11’) to Czech TV and the sale of Toad and Friends to TVP Poland. And, via its partnership with Filmhub in the US, Hoho has also secured sales for young adult comedy horror series Mandy and the Forces of Evil (8×30’) with streaming platforms Prime Video, Tubi, Future Today, Popsy on Plex, Filmzie and Relay and for the animated special The Overcoat (1×30’) with Tubi, Xumo, Popsy on Plex and YouTube Movies and TV.
Helen Howells, Joint Managing Director, Hoho Entertainment, commented: “In Mimi’s World we have a property whose themes of kindness and inclusivity are sure to strike a chord with children everywhere. We are also really excited to reveal Fetch the Vet’s ‘digital glow-up’ and can’t wait to showcase both properties to buyers at Annecy. We are very proud of the titles on our slate and we believe that our new digital restoration initiatives will highlight that quality animation for all ages continues to resonate with international audiences.”
